This week’s best beauty Instagrams were all down to attitude of all kinds, from upbeat and luminous to dark and seductive. Halle Bailey schooled followers in the art of self-confidence (and prettily many-hued hair texture), as elsewhere, Hailee Steinfeld and her finger-raked caramel lengths soaked up the sun.
An angelic aesthetic took an appropriately unique turn when adopted by Georgia May with her side-swept blonde waves and harmonizing bleached brows and FKA Twigs, engraved wooden beads lending her ethereal look some terrestrial appeal. But where there are angels, there must also be devils, a role that Doja Cat was happy to play in literal guise—crocheted horned balaclava, bleached brows, and all. And as for Kendall Jenner? Her series of black-and-white snaps skewed decidedly moody, the vibe all down to an easy-to-emulate cocktail of onyx liner, tousled lengths, and the correct demeanor for the carry-off.
