The Archies: Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina tease an epic ride back to the ’60s – Times of India

Riverdale mein aapka swagat hai!
Zoya Akhtar, on Sunday, took fans back to the 1960s with her glitzy and glamorous ‘The Archies‘ teaser. The 1.15-minute clip gives us a first glimpse of debutants Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina and the rest of the Riverdale bunch, slipping on their dancing shoes and getting groovy to Rock & Roll tunes as they sip on shakes, and explore love, life and heartbreak.
‘The Archies’ is a coming-of-age, live-action musical, this time with a desi twist. The film, unlike any other adaptation so far, is set in India and is a fictitious take on life in the 60s’.Sharing the teaser, Suhana took to Instagram and wrote, “Are you ready to go back in time? Welcome to The Archies.”

Besides giving us a good look at Suhana, Agastya, Khushi and Vedang’s characters, the clip also gives the supporting cast including Mihir Ahuja, Dot and Yuvraj Menda time to shine.

The trailer was launched on the big stage at Netflix’s Tudum fan event where seven actors took to the stage and performed the film’s titled track live.
