Though originally touted as a future foe for Vergil Ortiz, in light of both Ortiz’s recent health struggles and Ennis’ impressive form, the man from Philadelphia has suddenly emerged as a viable opponent for both Crawford and Spence sooner than expected.
3 Errol Spence vs Jaron Ennis
As with Crawford, a fight between Ennis and Spence would be a fascinating one to behold. In terms of which of the two fights would be bigger, this we will only know once Spence and Crawford finally share a ring on Saturday in Las Vegas.
4 Deontay Wilder vs Andy Ruiz
Talked about for a while now, a heavyweight encounter between Wilder and Ruiz sounds not only spectacular, on paper, but also something both fighters need at this stage in their respective careers. Both, after all, are on the slow rebound from punishing defeats and both have an eye on another title run.
5 Devin Haney vs Shakur Stevenson
Not as appealing as Davis vs. Stevenson by virtue of the styles involved, a lightweight fight between Stevenson and Haney would nevertheless be an intriguing tactical battle full of traps, feints, and delightful boxing technique. It may not catch fire in the way fans hope, but it would no doubt be one for the purists.

6 David Benavidez vs Demetrius Andrade
Still unbeaten, and now at super-middleweight, former WBO belt-holder Andrade has often complained about being avoided and being too tricky for his own good. A test against hard-hitting super-middleweight contender Benavidez therefore could be the defining fight he needs.
7 Jose Carlos Ramirez vs Arnold Barboza Jnr
Unbeaten at 28-0 (10), super-lightweight Barboza needs a decent step up now at the age of 29. That could come in the form of a fight against Ramirez, a fellow Californian who has responded well from that 2021 loss against Josh Taylor.
8 Ryan Garcia vs Frank Martin
Although beaten last time out by Gervonta Davis, the marketable Ryan Garcia remains, at 24, something of a prospect with plenty of time to develop. Similarly, Martin, unblemished at 18-0 (12), is still finding his feet as a pro and looking for a test to really show what he is capable of.
9 Edgar Berlanga vs Caleb Plant
As Plant licks his wounds following a punishing loss against David Benavidez in March, he could do worse than target a fight against Berlanga in the near future. Berlanga, after all, is undefeated in 21 pro fights and just starting to gather momentum.
10 Jared Anderson vs Jarrell Miller
Interesting only really because it involves two heavyweights who carry the same nickname – “Big Baby” – a potential fight between Anderson, a hot prospect, and Miller, a proven drug cheat, would be a classic example of good vs. bad.
