That Karan Johar couldn’t agree to Tiger Shroff’s fee for Screw Dheela is a baseless rumour – Exclusive – Times of India

Tiger Shroff and Karan Johar’s much-talked about collaboration has been in the news ever since it’s first announcement came out earlier this year in July. Just yesterday, there were a fresh batch of reports that speculated another reason why the film was shelved. The reports suggested that Karan Johar was unable to agree with Tiger on his fee for the film, which was speculated to be Rs 30 crores.

Now a source close to the project has revealed to ETimes that this rumour, like all previous versions is not true. The source said, “There are many stories doing the rounds around Tiger Shroff and KJo’s project Screw Dheela. But they are all untrue and a figment of someone’s imagination. They are both busy with the respective projects and there is no concrete update on their project together.”

Earlier on, there have been other speculations around the project some suggesting that project was delayed due to date issues, since Tiger has signed on multiple projects that he is committed to finishing this year and in early 2023. Tiger is slated to appear in action movies like ‘Bade Miyan Chotte Miyan’, ‘Ganapath’ and ‘Rambo’. It will be interesting to see what happens to ‘Screw Dheela’. Watch this space for more.
