Texas A&M-South Carolina announcers got weird about Texas state fair corndogs (Video)
An announcer calling the Texas A&M and South Carolina Gamecocks was distracted by corn dogs at the state fair.
The Texas A&M Aggies returned to the football field for the first time since their comeback attempt against the Alabama Crimson Tide fell short in Week 6. They were on the road to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks, who were coming off a bye as well after defeating the Kentucky Wildcats.
Texas A&M was trailing 17-3 to start the second quarter when SEC Network cameras cut to the South Carolina state fair and footage of the corndogs for sale.
Broadcaster Jordan Rodgers then said, “Talk to me dirty corndogs” before asking “Are we on?”

The broadcast got their taste of corndogs eventually and they seemed to enjoy every second of it.
The game started off in the perfect way for South Carolina, as Xavier Legette returned the opening kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown. Things only got better for them, as they intercepted a pass thrown by Haynes King. That then set the Gamecocks up for a 23-yard field goal, giving them a 10-0 lead.
Shortly afterward, the Gamecocks extended their lead to 17-0 on a five-yard touchdown run by Christian Beal-Smith.
Texas A&M did cut their deficit to 17-14 at halftime on two field goals by Randy Bond and a nine-yard touchdown pass by King to Max Wright.
