Texas A&M fan turns Arch Manning’s commitment into shot at Nick Saban

One Texas A&M fan used Arch Manning’s commitment to Texas as a reason to drag Nick Saban.

Arch Manning may not be going to Alabama, but the new Texas commit will be playing against rival Texas A&M soon enough, alright.

Given that the Aggies were never in the mix for the No. 1 recruit in the country for 2023, it was easy for this Texas A&M fan to connect the dots on a message board to say the Alabama dynasty is dying and soon will be dead. First, Kirby Smart won a national championship. Then, Jimbo Fisher got the No. 1 recruiting class for 2022. Now, Manning picked Texas. The dominos are falling, y’all!

The only problem with this is Texas is joining the SEC and will play Texas A&M annually again.

Removing any biases you may have, Alabama will probably win the national title this season. They have the two best players in college football in pass-rusher Will Anderson and 2021 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young. Even if Alabama does not end up winning it all, the Crimson Tide are on a shortlist of teams who can, such as Georgia and Ohio State, among others.

Let’s be real. With the way Texas A&M has been recruiting of late and the amount of money the university is paying Fisher, the Aggies better win soon! Of course, they will have to beat the likes of Georgia, Alabama (who will be quarterbacked by a former Aggie commit in Eli Holstein) and Texas (who landed the first member of the third generation of America’s football royal family). Good luck!

Eventually, Saban’s dynastic run at Alabama will come to an end. However, why should anyone believe Texas A&M will become the new king of the castle once that day gets here? Nobody alive has ever played a team sport for the Aggies of note that has won a national championship. Even if the dynasty does crumble, why would it be Texas A&M receiving this very important coronation?

Go ahead and bet your 401k on Saban never winning another national title while he is at Alabama.
