Tecno has unveiled its first 5G phone under its Pova smartphone series. The company has unveiled Tecno Pova 5G with a 6.95-inch screen and MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.

Tecno Pova 5G carries a price tag of $289 (approximately Rs 22,000). The handset packs 8GB RAM and has an internal storage capacity of 128GB. There are no details about the phone’s availability.
Tecno Pova 5G: Specifications
Tecno Pova 5G is equipped with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution of 1080×2460 pixels. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor. It comes integrated with Mali G68 GPU and packs 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The device has an internal storage capacity of 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Buyers will also get 3GB virtual RAM support with the phone. It runs on Android 11 operating system with the company’s proprietary HiOS on top.
The device is backed by a 6000mAh battery. It offers 18watt fast charging support. Tecno Pova 5G boasts of a 12MP selfie camera with dual flash.
On the rear, the smartphone has a dual camera setup. It consists of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP camera and an AI lens. The handset measures 172.82 x 78.24 x 9.07mm. It is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Aether Black is the colour variant of the phone. For safety and privacy, the phone has a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
