Tech Mahindra to create new revenue streams, 1,000 Jobs in UK

Bengaluru: Tech Mahindra announced on Friday that it will create new revenue streams and add 1,000 jobs in the UK in artificial intelligence and data science domains.

The announcement on the back of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s visit to India to bolster the bilateral ties. The Mahindra Group company will collaborate with a research institute in the UK to co-innovate at Tech Mahindra’s Makers Lab in Milton Keynes, according to its statement.

Makers Lab is a research and a development hub for co-innovation of solutions and services of the future with customers, partner companies, research institutions, universities, and start-ups. The initiative aims to grow innovation in both countries and harness the power of emerging technology to confront global challenges.

Tech Mahindra’s research arm Makers Lab is focused on next generation technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, Internet of Things, augmented reality/ virtual reality, 5G.
