In a board meeting held on Thursday, the board of directors approved these changes, subject to shareholder approval during the annual general meeting to be held on July 27.

In March, Tech Mahindra announced the selection of Mohit Joshi as CEO to take over from CP Gurnani who is set to retire in December. Joshi’s appointment as CEO and MD will be effective from December 20.
“Further to the earlier intimation sent on March 11, 2023, we wish to inform you that the board of directors at its meeting held today, with a view to ensure smooth transition on account of the impending retirement of CP Gurnani, MD and CEO of the company on December 19, 2023, has inter-alia, based on the recommendation of nomination and remuneration committee approved the following,” the company informed the exchanges.
Joshi’s tenure ends on June 19, 2028. Joshi, 49, was previously president at Infosys. He led the global financial services and healthcare and software businesses. Joshi also led sales operations and transformation for Infosys and had executive responsibility for all large deals across the company. He was also responsible for the CIO function and the Infosys Knowledge Institute.
