Team SA in the finals of World Shearing Championships 2023
Blade shearers, Bonile Rabela and Zwelamakhosi Mbuweni will be in action at the finals on Sunday afternoon at the popular sheep-shearing competition which showcases the art, skill and techniques it takes to be a world champion.

JOHANNESBURG – Team South Africa has made it to the finals at the Golden Shears World Shearing and Woolhandling Championships in Scotland.
The popular sheep-shearing competition with entrants from around the world showcases the art, skill and techniques it takes to be a world champion.
The country’s blade shearers – Bonile Rabela and Zwelamakhosi Mbuweni were in action at the semi-finals on Sunday morning.
They both qualified for the blade shearing finals, set to take place on Sunday afternoon.
Shearing teams from 31 nations around the world flocked to Edinburgh to compete at the event, which is held in a different location around the globe every three years.
