TCS expands deal with HR services company Randstad

Tata Consultancy Services said on Thursday that it has expanded an existing deal from global HR services company Randstad to modernize its application estate on the cloud, strengthen the security posture and accelerate its transformation journey. Deal financials were not disclosed.

Randstad selected TCS as the strategic transformation partner in 2016 to digitise the company’s sourcing solutions. During the first phase of its digital transformation, TCS drove one of the largest public cloud migration projects then – moving over 925 IT applications from over 50 legacy data centers across the world to a public cloud.

In the new phase of Randstad’s transformation journey, TCS will leverage its partner ecosystem and AWS capabilities cloud rationalization and application modernization. This will be achieved with a mix of Software as a Service and more cloud native applications leveraging Platform as a Service.

“We look forward to continuing our long-term relationship with TCS, which to date has delivered strong results including a successful cloud infrastructure project,” said Martin de Weerdt, Global Chief Information Officer, Randstad.
TCS will onboard and roll out global security services and scale the global DevSecOps platform. By modernizing Randstad’s digital core on AWS, TCS will scale up many services, such as information security, network, service control, service management, business application management, and business application hosting.

“With our deep domain knowledge of the professional services industry and expertise on the AWS platform, we will help Randstad achieve their cloud-first modernization vision, enhance customer experience, improve business resilience, and drive long-term growth, and profitability,” said Krishna Mohan, Global Head, AWS Business Unit, TCS.
