Tamannaah Bhatia explains what makes Vijay Varma an equal partner in their relationship – Times of India

Of late, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma are getting asked a lot of questions about their relationship. Though both being private people, Tamannaah and Vijayhaven’t shied away from talking about it. In a new interview, Tamannaah opened up about whether it is tough to see their relationship being put under the microscope and what is it like to read about them online.
Tamannaah told Barkha Dutt for Mojo Story that she kept herself away from not talking about her personal life for a very long time because it largely came from the lack of understanding about herself. She added that today she feels complete, whole, happy, peaceful and joyful and whatever she speaks come from the heart.
She further said that she has also come to a point where she felt like there’s no need to hide. Though she admitted the fact that it’s a great table conversation for actors to know how they are dating and who’s in their life. The actress then mentioned that she has been in an arranged marriage situations where she was told that it was great that she has achieved so much and a big superstar but she has to stop working. And she said no to them.
Tamannaah said that those were the moments she realised who she really was. “I cannot enter any equation where women are expected to compromise on their most basic feelings,” she said.
When she was asked about her equation with Vijay in their relationship, Tamannaah replied, “I’m the happiest I have been. He is a wonderful human being and an equal partner. I think he has a lot of strong women in his life and I feel like that’s what it takes…when you respect those strong women, you respect your woman as well. And that’s what I feel the younger generation needs to learn. We teach sons how to treat women instead of asking women how they should behave with men around them.”
