Taapsee Pannu returning tomorrow after shooting ‘Dunki’ with Shah Rukh Khan in Saudi Arabia – Exclusive – Times of India

Taapsee Pannu is on cloud nine. She has been shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for Raj Kumar Hirani’s film ‘Dunki’ in Saudi Arabia. Remember, ETimes was the FIRST to tell you that she’s packing her bags for the same, much ahead of the date that the cast and crew of the film actually left Mumbai. And now, she’s coming back to promote her first film as a producer, ‘Blurr’.

Taapsee will be in Mumbai, tomorrow. The trailer of ‘Blurr’ released yesterday has created a lot of intrigue. It looks like a ‘Whodunit’ and a ‘thriller’ both. The makers, we hear, have been receiving a lot of praise from several quarters.

‘Blurr’ revolves around Gayatri who is slowly losing her sight whilst trying to unearth the truth behind the death of her twin sister, Gautami.

Talking about the film, the film’s director Ajay Bahl has said, “The film ‘Blurr’ discovers angularities and depths of the human mind and the dark alleys it can traverse through. ‘Blurr’ throws you into the murky waters where human needs intermingle with extreme delusional anger. The narrative and the plot of the film gave me a lot of different aspects to explore while directing. With spectacular twists and character portrayal, ‘Blurr’ will satiate your craving of a mind-bending thriller. I want to thank Taapsee and ZEE studios for believing in the script and ZEE5 for platforming the film.”

‘Blurr’ is produced by Pranjal Khandiya, Tutu Sharma and Tony D’souza. The film also stars Kruttika Desai in a very important role.

A few days ago, Pranjal had spoken to ETimes about the recent downside in the box-office fate of Bollywood films. For those who’ve come in late, click on the link below to read it:

‘Blurr’, which is an official remake of the Spanish film ‘Julia’s Eyes’, will go online on December 9.
