Swara Bhasker shares a heart-warming note for the paps, wins over the internet – Times of India

Recently on Diwali, Swara was in the news yet again, however, for all the right reasons. Taking to her social media, Swara penned a heart-felt note for the paparazzi pondering over the fact that while all the celebs are enjoying Diwali, the paps are busy clicking their pictues, presumably spending time away from family on the festival.


She wrote “
The business of celebrity is a strange thing and dependent on many factors and many people .. one such bunch are the paparazzi. the other is the service industry. I often wonder guiltily as we get papped whether (in our image hungry age) the paps ever get to celebrate festivals with their near and dear ones. I mean I know it’s a job they’re doing, but still. It’s a wierd and harsh eco system really.. and we are all part of it! Anyway. Happy Diwali to the good old Paparazzi! Aap nahi hotey toh hum nahi hotey! Happy Diwali!”

Netizens appreciated her candour and the fact that she recognized the hard and often thankless job of the paps.

Swara’s latest outing Jahaan Chaar Yaar did not perform well at the box-office. She is now looking forward to Mrs. Falani next year.
