Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh: CBI wants to give SSR’s case a slow death – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away under mysterious circumstances on June 14, 2020. Three years later, his family is still pursuing the impending Court case around his death investigation. The CBI‘s reports has previously suggested that SSR‘s cause of death was probably due to suicide. But there’s been no conclusive reports or findings presented by the investigation agency in the past year or more.
ETimes spoke to lawyer Vikas Singh, who has represented Sushant’s family during the Court trials related to the investigation and SSR’s death case. While the senior lawyer was in Germany, he took time out to give us an update. He said, “The CBI wants to give Sushant’s case a slow death. That is the only update right now.”
SSR’s family has been pursuing the case and the CBI investigation relentlessly in the last 3 years. When ETimes asked Vikas Singh about SSR’s family’s current stand on the case, he said, “The family does not have anything. It is all in the hands of the investigating agencies and Mumbai police has already damaged the case in a way.”
Late last year, one Roop Kumar Shah, who claimed to be part of the hospital team that conducted SSR’s autopsy, had claimed that the ‘Kai Po Che’ star was murdered. After that SSR’s sister and other celebrities from Bollywood, like Shekhar Suman had demanded that the CBI re-open the investigation. An RTI was also filed to reveal the findings, but the CBI refused to divulge any information, stating that the investigation was still on.
