Suns vs. Kings prediction and odds for Friday, March 24
Just two games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, Sacramento hosts Phoenix tonight in a critical matchup for both teams in the standings.
The Sacramento Kings dropped each of their last two games but won 11 of the previous 13 before that. They beat the Phoenix Suns on the road earlier this month and now hope for a similar result at home.
Pheonix is struggling of late, having lost five of six, and is at risk of even tumbling back into the play-in tournament in an extremely tight race in the West.
I see clear value on one side, so let’s check out the odds and jump into it.
Suns vs. Kings odds, spread and total
Suns vs. Kings prediction and pick
Despite a pair of losses in the last few days, this is a great bounce-back spot for Sacramento. Not only did the Kings already beat this Suns squad recently, but Phoenix is reeling at the moment.
The Suns haven’t covered the spread in six straight games, failing to cover by nearly eight points per contest on average. They’re still a good team, but the market seems to be overvaluing Phoenix and undervaluing Kings here.
Sacramento is 10-5 against the spread in its last 15 games thanks to the NBA’s best offensive rating (123.1) over that stretch. The Kings are 4-1 in their last five as home favorites and should be in a position to take advantage of an injury-riddled Phoenix squad.
Look for De’Aaron Fox and Damontas Sabonis to lead Sacramento to a convincing home win and continue the Suns’ slide down the standings.
