The couple tied the knot on June 18 in Mumbai, with their families and close friends in attendance. During his appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, Sunny opened up about how Karan introduced Drisha to him.
Sunny told Kapil Sharma that he got to know about Drisha through his wife Pooja Deolwhom Karan had told earlier.He was extremely happy as they didn’t have a daughter in their family. And when she came, they were overjoyed and welcomed her.
He also talked about his bond with Karan and shared that being a little scared of one’s father is a Deol family trait. He said that his dad Dharmendra was afraid of Bauji, he was afraid of Dharmendra and then Karan.
He further added that being scared is just that he had done so much mischief that he feels his dad must have come to know about something from that lot.

When the wedding festivities had begun, Dharmendra had revealed to ETimes how he learned about Karan and Drisha’s love. The veteran actor had said that Karan first told his mother who then told Sunny who told him. He had also shared that he met Drisha at his house and when Sunny told him about Karan and Drisha, Dharmendra said, ‘Go ahead if Karan likes her’.
Meanwhile, Karan and Drisha recently returned to Mumbai after enjoying their honeymoon in Manali. The newlyweds were all smiles for photographs at the airport. The two have been in a relationship for a long time now. Drisha is a fashion designer. Reportedly, Drisha is the granddaughter of Bimal Roy’s daughter, Rinki Bhattacharya, who was married to filmmaker Basu Bhattacharya.
