Athiya Shetty got married to KL Rahul in January this year. Her father and actor Suniel Shetty, who has been married to his wife Mana Shetty for 24 years, has shared an important advice for his daughter about successful relationships.
During an interview with Mid-day, Suniel advised Athiya to trust her partner completely and believe in him. KL Rahulis an athlete, so he will travel and she might not be able to travel with him all the time.Just like actors, athletes will also have their highs and lows.
On being asked what warning he would give to his son-in-law, Suniel asked KL Rahul not to be such a beautiful human being that they seem inferior when it comes to him. And don’t be such a good boy that everyone believes that this is what goodness is all about and not you.Suniel further revealed that he always tells Athiya that she is blessed and not necessarily the other way around. He also said that not just Athiya but his wife, his mother, his sisters-in-law, his sister, all are obsessed with Rahul.
Earlier, KL Rahul had penned an emotional note on Father’s Day. He had shared two pictures, one with his father and another one with Suniel. He had written, “Grateful for the love, wisdom,strength and the guidance from two of the most important men in my life. Happy Father’s Day.”
KL Rahul and Athiya exchanged vows on January 23 at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. The duo was in a relationship for three years before they got married.
