Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda promise a fun ride down memory lane with ‘The Archies’ cast trailer – Times of India

Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor starrer ‘The Archies’ cast announcement trailer is packed with promising talent and happy faces. ETimes had exclusively unveiled the first look of Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge, Agastya as Archie Andrews, Khushi as Betty Cooper and Vedang Raina as Jughead Jones in April, when our paparazzi had caught them in action . These four will be introduced as the teenagers of Riverdale, but unlike the American teen drama, this adaptation has a ‘desi’ twist.

The cast announcement trailer features seven happy friends, chilling in the woods, looking forward to an exciting and thrilling narrative. Apart from the for mains, this OTT movie also features Dot., Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda. ‘The Archies’ series has a retro vibe to it, with all the ingredients of a classic high school entertainer. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, this movie is slated for release on an OTT platform next year. “Ain’t nothing like old school❤️ Grab your gang ’cause the Archies are coming soon,” Suhana had shared while announcing her acting debut.

Speaking about the project, Zoya Akhtar had previously said in a statement, “I am super excited to have the chance to bring The Archies to life. It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous.”
