Suchitra Krishnamoorthi says she hasn’t forgiven Preity Zinta for failed marriage with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Years after Suchitra Krishnamoorthi blamed Preity Zinta for her failed marriage with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, the actress says all’s still not forgiven. The actress, who had accused the filmmaker of cheating on her and ended her marriage almost 15 years ago, said that she has still not forgiven Preity.
In the latest interview, Suchitra revealed that she had not forgiven Preity as she didn’t believe that she needed to do so as she wasn’t a part of her consciousness. She added that these tainted events in her life didn’t even exist for her and said that it was a ‘good space’ to be in.

Back in the early 2000s, Suchitra got into a war of worlds with Preity where she apparently blamed her for the failure of her marriage. At the time, Preity shamed Suchitra for being ‘a homemaker’ while she said that she was the number one actress. While she was at it, she even advised her to ‘see a psychiatrist’ as she claimed that her mind was not in the right place.

When asked to share her thoughts about Preity’s past remarks against her, Suchitra said, that the actress was free to say what she wanted and reacting to the comment, she said that she was ‘very proud’ to be a homemaker and a full-time mom.

Suchitra and Shekhar had tied the knot in 1997 and parted ways in 2006 after the actress alleged that her filmmaker husband was ‘unfaithful’. After a bitter breakup, she wrote a blog alleging that a “maneater” came between her and her husband.

Although, at the time, she didn’t reveal who the person was, she later pointed fingers at Preity.
