Succession’s Logan Roy and Cousin Greg Have a Front Row Reunion at Loewe
Since the final season of Succession went out with a bang at the end of May, it’s been a tough few weeks for fans of the hit HBO show. But for anyone feeling particularly bereft, spotting the cast members making front-row appearances at the men’s fashion shows in Milan and Paris may offer a little relief. First, there was everybody’s favorite boy king and schemer Kendall—or at least the actor who plays him, Jeremy Strong—at the Loro Piana show in Milan, wearing a forest green blazer and a bucket hat lifted from the brand’s women’s section. (Not a pair of Kendall’s Lanvin sneakers in sight, however.)
And today, at the Loewe show in Paris, the brand invited not just one, but two cast members to take in Jonathan Anderson’s latest menswear offering: Brian Cox and Nicholas Braun (better known to Succession viewers as patriarch Logan Roy and the bumbling Cousin Greg, of course). While it may well be the first time that Cox has attended a show at Paris Fashion Week, if there’s one thing the latest press tour for Succession taught us, it’s that the 77-year-old Scottish actor has a sharp eye for style. Working with stylist Venk Modur, he’s delivered everything from a suede western overshirt for a late show appearance, to a dapper powder blue suit to attend the Madrid premiere of the show’s final season. On the front row at Loewe, Cox wore a bright blue overshirt, navy track pants, crisp white sneakers, and a pair of the brand’s oval sunglasses to top it all off.
