Stunning moment Tibetan monks erupt in wild celebration as Argentina win the World Cup: ‘Enlightenment can wait another day’
Heartwarming footage has emerged on social media of a large group of Tibetan monks celebrating Argentina winning the World Cup.
A clip was uploaded to Twitter page World Football Club after superstar Lionel Messi guided La Albiceleste to glory in Qatar.
The footage shows the monks getting a taste of nirvana at the fulltime whistle.
After sharing the vision to his 117,000 plus followers, Australian football great Craig Foster was blown away by the scenes.
‘Of all the amazing displays of collective emotion & unity of human experience that is the global language of football, perhaps this is most enlightening,’ the former Socceroos midfielder tweeted.

A number of Foster’s followers were equally impressed by the footage, with one declaring ‘no other sport comes close’, a reference to football uniting people globally.
Another stated ‘Amazing! Thank you for sharing Craig.’
A third said ‘seems the whole world was watching Argentina and France.’

Tibetan monks dedicate their lives to prayer and serving others.
Part of the Buddhist faith, their leader is the Dalai Lama, with a strong emphasis on reincarnation.
It is promoted that ‘beings’ are born on different realms of existence, notably animal realm, human realm, godly realm and ghost realm.
The realms are said to be dependent on karma committed in previous lives.
