‘Stop printing rubbish’: Hansika Motwani slams reports of her casting couch encounter in Telugu film industry | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Some recent reports had claimed that Hansika Motwani shared her encountered harassment and inappropriate advances from a young actor during her early days in the Telugu film industry. The reports soon started going viral on the internet. But it seems like Hansika’s casting couch encounter is far from truth.
The alleged reports had suggested that a young hero kept asking Hansika out on dates which made her feel insulted and uncomfortable. Then Hansika had given him a fitting response but chose not to name the actor.

Hansika took to Twitter to clarify that she has not given such quotes in her recent interviews. She tagged the publication and wrote, “Have not given this quote ever ! Stop printing rubbish !!!!!!!”

In a separate tweet, Hansika urged news portals to stop picking up random news on social media and publishing them without checking facts. “Publications urging you to cross check before picking up random news piece ! Never made this comment that’s doing the rounds pls fact check before publishing blindly,” she tweeted.

Earlier this month, Hansika completed shooting for the last schedule of director Igore’s Tamil film Man in Chennai. The film is a thriller that talks about violence against women and the difficulties that they have been subjected to. Hansika plays a fashion designer, a strong, independent and empowered woman.
Directed by Igore and shot in Chennai, Pollachi and Madurai, the movie’s also includes Aari Arjunan, who plays the antagonist, Janani Durga and Soumika. Ghibran has composed the music and Mani has worked the cameras.
