Stella McCartney Celebrated Her Latest Adidas Launch With A Star-Studded Party

Thanks to award season, a new year in Los Angeles kicks off with a bevy of events. With the 65th Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday, so begins a marathon of cocktails, dinners, and after-parties. On Thursday evening, Stella McCartney threw a launch party to celebrate her latest Adidas collection with a crowd so star-studded that locking eyes with a familiar face happened no matter where you looked.

Held at the Henson Recording Studios, guests entered the party to a courtyard filled with food trucks and life-size planet Earth inflatables. They sat at picnic tables and ate churros and pizza, and drank tequila or prosecco before heading to the main stage through a tunnel lit only by a neon Stella McCartney sign. Inside, even bigger planet earth inflatables hung from the ceiling as the LA Roller girls whirred about a rink in McCartney’s newest Adidas collection. “I love the idea of throwing your skates on and just running free! I am so happy to have the LA Roller Girls and my friends with me to skate the night away,” said Stella McCartney. Indeed, many guests threw on a pair of skates and hit the rink, including the Willis sisters.

In attendance was McCartney’s father, Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler, Nicole Richie, Anya Taylor Joy, Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Leslie Mann, Miguel, Pauline Chalamet, Paris Jackson, Alicia Keys, John Mayer and more.

“Tonight is all about celebrating all that we have accomplished together in a first-of-its-kind celebration for Adidas by Stella McCartney,” said McCartney, whose partnership with Adidas spans eighteen years. “We began with a core desire to explore and experiment in the fashion and sport spaces, and highlight what is possible when you collaborate to create and innovate.”
