Starbucks hours: Is Starbucks open on President’s Day?
Is Starbucks open on President’s Day?
The United States runs on coffee, at least that’s how it feels most days. With the constant “go-go-go” of the United States, coffee can help give you a bit of a kick in the pants to get your day going. Starbucks is among the largest coffee suppliers in the United States. The massive coffee organization is extremely popular and people stop by their stores nearly every day. Even on holidays. Yet, with Monday, Feb. 21 being President’s Day, will their stores be open so you can get your coffee fix?
Well, why wouldn’t it be? President’s Day is a federal holiday that started in 1885, and it was originally created to celebrate George Washington. The holiday has evolved to include more than just Washington and now exists as a day to celebrate any and all Presidents who have served the United States.
Due to this, it’s become a federal holiday. Federal holidays are usually only observed by banks and government institutions, meaning that most private businesses aren’t going to be closed on a day like President’s Day, but that’s not a universal truth. Some businesses may be closed or have adjusted hours.
The question remains, does this include Starbucks?
No, Starbucks will not be affected by President’s Day, and will in fact be open on Monday, Feb. 21, to serve you coffee.
What are Starbucks hours on President’s Day?
So Starbucks is open, but will the holiday affect the hours of operation for the coffee giant? That’s a good question but one you don’t need to worry about as your local Starbucks should be open their normal hours of operation. If you have any concerns about that though or think they may be closed due to prior experiences, you should absolutely call ahead and double-check.
