Fashion designer turned actress Masaba Gupta tied the knot with her ‘ocean of calm’ Satyadeep Misra yesterday in the presence of family members. The couple had a court marriage and hosted an intimate post wedding party in Mumbai in the evening. Masaba’s dad Vivian Richards, mom Neena Gupta and step-father Vivek Mehra were seen arriving at the do. The couple’s close friends Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Konkona Sen among others also made a splash at the party.
West Indies cricket legend Vivian Richards looked dapper in a formal attire and happily posed for the cameras. The newlyweds looked adorable – Masaba opted for a black full-sleeved top paired with a blue draped skirt, while Satyadeep looked dapper in a white shirt and pants, layered it with a beige blazer.

Sonam Kapoor took a break from mommy duties and arrived at BFF Masaba’s party looking bewitching in a black ensemble. She tied her hair into a neat bun and added a rose to accessorise her look. Dia Mirza arrived with husband Vaibhav Rekhi wearing golden and black gown. Rhea Kapoor’s husband Karan Boolani and Gaurav Kapur were also spotted at the do. Konkona Sen, Sandhya Mridul, Soni Razdan too happily posed for the shutterbugs.

Masaba surprised everyone on Friday morning as she announced her wedding. Sharing pictures from her intimate wedding, Masaba wrote, “Married my ocean of calm, this morning. Here’s to many many lifetimes of love,peace,stability & most importantly laughter. And thanks for letting me pick the caption – this is gonna be great!”
