Sonali Kulkarni scolds Kapil Sharma for not knowing Marathi despite living in Mumbai, he breaks into Punjabi in response

Sonali Kulkarni was seen scolding Kapil Sharma for not learning Marathi despite living in Mumbai for a while now, in a new promo of The Kapil Sharma Show. She came on the show with Ravi Kishan and Sachin Khedekar.

In the promo, Sonali told Kapil that despite working in several films, she never got an opportunity to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show. While Kapil said it was his honour to have her on the show, Sonali had one complaint – she wanted to know why he is speaking only in Hindi and English, and not in Marathi. 

Kapil confessed he didn’t know Marathi. Sonali then pulled him up for not knowing the language despite living in Mumbai, which has many actors who speak the language. Kapil broke into Punjabi and replied, “You’ve been talking for so long, you’re not giving me a chance to speak,” leaving everyone in splits. 

She then continued in Marathi, “Shouldn’t you know the language of the place you live in a little?” Kapil tried to calm her down and said that he agrees with her points. He then addressed her as ‘ma’am’ after calling her Sonali ji for so long. Sonali noticed and asked him to directly call her Sonali. Kapil then stepped forward and said, “Listen, baby…” and cracked Sonali up.

Ravi Kishan, Sachin Khedekar and Sonali Kulkarni will be seen on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their show Whistleblower. The SonyLIV show revolves around the Vyapam scam in medical colleges that took place in 2013. The show is created and written by Ajay Monga and directed by Manoj Pillai.

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma will also be hosting Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Aanand L Rai on his show this weekend. The trio will be seen promoting their upcoming movie Atrangi Re.
