Sonakshi Sinha reacts to the possibility of ‘Dahaad’ sequel, shares the experience of being on a Sanjay Leela Bhansali set for ‘Heeramandi’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Sonakshi Sinha who was last seen in ‘Dahaad‘ has been getting a lot of love for her character of a fierce cop Anjali Bhaati. The actress had said that she’s never really got this level of love for any of her characters and it’s just overwhelming. Her co-stars in the film, Vijay Varma, Sohum Shah and Gulshan Deviah are also winning hearts with thier performances. Clearly, then, the audience is waiting for ‘Dahaad’ sequel.
In a recent interview, Sonakshi has opened up on the possibility of that and said she would love to have a sequel and can’t wait to get into her character again. But it’s a question which needs to be asked to the creators Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. However, even if a sequel is made, here’s what Sonakshi will miss. Her character changes from Anjali Bhaati to Anjali Meghwal towards the end of the show and Sonakshi will miss being called ‘Bhati saab’.
What’s interesting is that, Sonakshi will be seen next in an all-new avatar for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi‘. The actress opened up on working on a Bhansali set and said that it’s unreal. She’s so happy to be a part of this project. Sonakshi said she can’t explain the experience of being on a SLB set. She feels that Bhansali brings out the best in his actors and she feels priviledged to be one of them.
‘Heeramandi’ will also release on OTT and it also stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Sehgal and Sanjeeda Sheikh. Sonakshi refuses the fact that she will only be seen in female-driven projects or on OTT. The actress said she has two movies which are up to release and one film that she’s currently shooting.
The actress will be seen next in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
