Lipa’s boyfriend is Romain Gavras, a 41-year-old French filmmaker. He’s the son of journalist and producer Michèle Ray-Gavras and Oscar-winning director Costa Gavras, and known for directing popular music videos including M.I.A.’s ”Bad Girls” Video. He was previously romantically linked to Rita Ora from 2020 to 2021.
How long have Lipa and Gavras been together?
Romance rumors first engulfed these two when they left a BAFTA afterparty together in February of 2023, with a hand-holding photo-op following at Saint Laurent’s Paris Fashion Week show a month later; however, their official red-carpet debut was at Cannes in May, where they attended the premiere of Omar La Fraise (The King of Algiers) together.
How is Lipa’s ex Anwar Hadid reacting to the news?
Not well, unfortunately. Hadid, who dated Lipa roughly from 2019 to 2021, has posted some cryptic and somewhat troubling messages on Instagram in the wake of the new couple’s red-carpet debut, writing “Trying to not to find and kill him,” among other things.
