Snapchat down: Users face issues as messages fail to deliver

Users of Snapchat faced several issues, including being unable to send or deliver messages, on Friday morning.

According to website and app tracking platform Downdetector, the issues rose to over 1,100 after 11 am IST.

Further, Downdetector showed that 38% of the issues were associated with the app, 34% with server connection, and 28% with sharing problems

Users took to Twitter – the go-to platform for such occasions – to raise their issues.

Though Snapchat did not release official communication about what led to this outage, the Snapchat Support account on Twitter asked users to DM them to try and fix any issues they may be facing.
