Siddharth Anand refunds Rs 65 crore fee after film with Prabhas hits a roadblock due to date issues: Report | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

A few years ago, there were reports doing the rounds that Prabhas and Siddharth Anand were going to collaborate with each other for a movie bankrolled by Mythri Production. It was reported that the production house had signed Siddharth as a director for a whooping Rs 65 crore. But it seems like, the future of this project appears to be gloomy.
According to the reports, the makers of the film have been putting their efforts to get the project in place. Despite all the attempts, it is now being said that the film has been put on hold. Siddharth has also reportedly refunded the amount which he received as an advance for the film.
The reports further state that Siddharth and Mythri have decided to collaborate on another project in the near future. The reason this particular project taking a back seat is because Siddharth and Prabhas’ dates were not matching which pushed the stakeholders to part ways.

Siddharth and Prabhas have apparently locked their dates for the next few years for their respective projects. While Prabhas has 3 films lined up, Siddharth is also committed to Fighter and Tiger vs Pathaan. The two are unable to come on the same page for a possible collaboration. The conversations may take off again once both the parties take out some free time.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film Adipurush, directed by Om Raut. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage in lead roles. The film has been at the receiving end of criticism for its poor VFX and alleged misrepresentation of Hindu deities.
