Shilpa Shetty opens up about dealing with difficult times, reveals she put up a ‘brave front’ only for her kids – Times of India

Talking about the same, Shilpa told a news portal that she has always believed that in life, one has to find a purpose. Even in the chaos, her purpose was her children and will always be them. The actress revealed that she stepped out in difficult times, with a brave front, to go back to work only to show her kids, especially her son Viaan that even during difficult times, one has to have a work ethic and rise like a phoenix.

Elaborating further, Shilpa added that Viaan has learnt through her, and the actress hopes she is able to give them the values her parents inculcated in her. She stated that for her, going out there and starting working was teaching her son through practice. According to her, you are never prepared for hardships in life. They suddenly hit you, but they make you stronger. Shilpa added that she didn’t know she was strong, but it’s a good feeling to know she can combat anything now.

Shilpa also went on to say that she was raised by a strong woman and she is also one because of her. While the actress has great help with my mum, mother-in-law and nanny, she feels there’s no one who can do the job better than a mother can. Shilpa also added that when she goes to work, she doesn’t hold any guilt as she gives a lot of time to her kids, even more than what her mother gave her.
