Shilpa Shetty Offers Fluffy Puris On The Occasion of Kanjak Puja
Kanya Pujan or Kanjak Puja holds a lot of importance during the Navratri festival. It is celebrated on the eighth day – Maha Ashtami. On this day, devotees worship nine girls between the ages of 2 to 10 and seek blessings. After the ceremony, people break their fast and have bhog. And, actress Shilpa Shetty performed Kanya Pujan at her home and we have the pictures too. The actress shared a glimpse of “Kanjak Puja” being performed at the Kundra residence. In her latest Instagram Stories, we see her offering food to girls, who are seated to savour Navratri delights.
In the snapshot, we can see Shilpa serving some fresh fluffy puris to the girls sitting in front of her. She is holding a steel thali filled with puris placed on a green cloth. The girls are sitting in a line with their plates kept in front of them, respectively. Shilpa captioned the image as “Happy Kanjak puja” and “Jai Mata Di.”
