Sherlyn Chopra has filed a molestation complaint against a Mumbai based financer at Juhu Police station on April 14. The actress said that a financer named Sunil Parasmani Lodha tricked her into believing that he wants to cast her for a music video and give her money for the same. The actress was in Dubai and returned to Mumbai on April 12. That’s when her manager informed her that an investor wants to meet her so he could cast her for a music video.
While she agreed to be a part of the video which was recorded successfully that evening, Sherlyn’s manager took her to meet the investor at a hotel. Initially, he opened up about wanted to invest money in songs to feature Sherlyn and even gave some money to her manager on the spot. However, Sherlyn opined that it was impossible to record a music video in the amount which he had paid and suggested that an amount of at least Rs 15 to 20 lakh is required. Sunil agreed and later invited himself to her house. Sherlyn prepared dinner for him and welcomed him home.

But, while having dinner, the financer tried to touch her inappropriately while engaging in a conversation. Sherlyn opposed to it repeatedly, the investor said he was unable to restrict himself as he is smitten by her. That’s when Sherlyn rushed to the police station to file a molestation complaint against Sunil. As per a news portal, the investor has also threatened to kill her.

The investigation is underway and the case is registered under the section 354, 506, 509 of IPC. Sherlyn recently released a short film titled ‘Maya’ which is a super natural thriller.
