‘Shehzada’: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer gets a reasonable opening at the box office on Day 1 – Times of India

After impressing one and all with his performance at the box office last year, Kartik Aaryan is hoping to recreate the same magic once again with his latest release, ‘Shehzada’.
As compared to its advance bookings, the film has opened on a reasonably low note. The buy one, get one ticket in the advance sales gave the film’s ticket sales the necessary boost. This will help the film to come out with decent collections on its first day at the box office, a report on boxofficeIndia.com stated.

The report also added that the second day, Saturday, is Mahashivratri which might enable collection to be even higher from the first day. So the Rohit Dhawan directorial is all set for the first two days.

The film had a low advance booking prior to its release. In fact, it was lower than most major releases post pandemic.

The Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer is locking horns with ‘Antman And The Wasp – Quantamania’ at the box office. The film opened to a good collection and is expected to do a good business on the weekend owing to the Marvel factor.

‘Shehzada’ is the official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. The remake also features actors like Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and others in key roles.
