Shehnaaz Gill says her career won’t be sorted just because Salman Khan has given her a break – Times of India

Shehnaaz Gill became a household name thanks to her stint in Bigg Boss 13. Now, she is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s upcoming Eid release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Though she is being launched by Salman into films, Shehnaaz is aware of the fact that she is an outsider and she will have to work hard to get work in the future.
In her new interview, Shehnaaz said that her journey lies in her hands and it is upto her how she wants to work on herself and what really she wants in life. She said that she will get films if she works hard and it is not that just because Salman has given her an entry into films, everything will be sorted.

She also said that during her stint in Bigg Boss 13, Shehnaaz had told Salman that she doesn’t want to win the trophy because she just wants to work with him. She feels that maybe Salman remembered her words and offered her this film.
Shehnaaz then talked about facing rejections during her initial stage of acting career. She revealed that she was rejected from a film set after she was taken in the film. She recalled people saying that she is a kid and how can they take her. It was hurtful for her.

She then added that when those people will listen to this, she won’t be easily available because she has realised her self-worth and become big in her own eyes. She also added that rejections should be accepted.

Earlier, Shehnaaz had opened up about how she was not invited for the premiere of her Punjabi film, which hurt her the most. She recalled how people from the production house invited everyone except her and it made her cry. She added that she believes in karma and God.
