Shahid Kapoor says he did not like himself in Padmaavat, reveals was ‘too uptight’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Shahid Kapoor, over the course of the last few years, has become one of the most bankable actors of Bollywood. After ruling the big screen, Shahid is currently making waves on the OTT screen, through both long format shows and movies.

Recently, the actor opened up on his career and revealed that if there was one character he would like to revisit and play differently, it had to be Maharawal Ratan Singh in Padmaavat. In a chat with a leading social media page, Shahid said he felt he was too uptight in Padmaavat and failed to bring out other aspects of the character’s personality.
Confessing that he got caught up in a headsapce, the actor added that while others might have liked him, he did not.
Off-screen, Shahid recently opened up on his personal life and revealed wife Mira’s most annoying habit. When he was asked to share one thing about Mira that he barely tolerates, Shahid went on to talk about her sleeping habits. He said that Mira doesn’t wake up in the morning, and keeps grumbling even when he tries to wake her up at 9 am.

Shahid then complained about Mira’s worst quality. He hates the fact that Mira gives him no credit whatsoever. “It’s like uski na mere se kuch woh hai ki mai tereko seedha karke hi rahungi (She is like, ‘I am going to make you better anyhow’),” he added.
