Being a 24-year-old, Shahid felt that his privacy was invaded and he couldn’t do anything about it.He told mid-day that he felt ‘destroyed’ and was a ‘mess’. Shahid stated, “I was like, yeh kya ho gaya and what is going on and of course, it affects you a lot. At that age especially, because you don’t even know exactly your own feelings and then you are figuring out how to be with a girl and you are dating and in the middle this happens.” The actor went on to add that he was caught off guard at that time but now after married and kids, no one is interested in such things about him. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor went on to part ways in 2007.
