Shahana Goswami is spilling the tea about her time on the film sets with her Neeyat co-star Vidya Balan. Ahead of the release of the film, the actress, in a candid chat with a portal revealed that Vidya had quite the mischievous side and tried to prank a visitor on the sets, but sadly did not succeed.
Shahana revealed that she informed Vidya that her friend would be visiting her on-set when the actress suggested that she would pretend that she didn’t know English and would speak to them only in Hindi.However, she couldn’t keep up her act for too long and confessed that she was only trying to prank them.

While she may have not been able to pull off that prank, she made sure to have some fun with her co-stars and crew members.

Directed by Anu Menon, Neeyat also features Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli and Danesh Razvi. The film marks her return to the big screen after films like Shakuntala Devi, Sherni, and Jalsa had direct-to-ott releases.

Apart from this upcoming whodunit, Vidya also has a romantic comedy titled Lovers with Pratik Gandhi lined up for its release. Directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, the film, also features Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy in leading roles.
