Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat name plate worth Rs 25 lakhs goes missing, here’s why – Times of India

Shah Rukh Khan fans often click pictures outside his plush Bandra bungalow, posing alongside the its iconic name plate of Mannat. Recently a fancy new name plate was put up, which was reportedly worth Rs 25 lakhs.

While admirers are still spilling outside the bungalow for a picture, the name plate has gone missing. Disappointed fans have been returning without a picture with ‘Mannat’ and there’s a reason for the same. According to a news portal, a diamond fell off from the expensive name plate and hence it was taken down for repair work. The ‘Mannat’ name plate is lying in the house and will soon be up after it has been restored.

On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son Aryan Khan was given a clean chit by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the drugs on cruise case. He was in custody for 26 days in October last year. Aryan was not named in the chargesheet due to ‘lack of evidence’. Welcoming the same, senior lawyer Sandeep Kapur, who was a part of Shah Rukh Khan’s legal team, told BT, “This is what we have argued from Day 1, that Aryan is absolutely innocent and there was no evidence against him and nothing was found on him. We are relieved that the truth has prevailed. And we are happy for Shah Rukh Khan and his family.”
