Shah Rukh Khan’s fans trend #PathaanFirstDayFirstShow after his cameo appearance in Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ – Times of India

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ released last Thursday and the film also faced a lot of backlash on social media. However, in a video that surfaced online, Shah Rukh Khan’s loyal fans were seen going crazy as he appeared on screen for his cameo. Fans also seem worried about the actor’s comeback film ‘Pathaan’ especially after #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha became a trend on social media, and the film suffered a loss at the box office. SRK’s fans then started another social media trend #PathaanFirstDayFirstShow in order to support his comeback.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, ‘Pathaan’ marks the Bollywood comeback of Shah Rukh after four years. The actioner is slated to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023.

The poor performance of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ also became a cause of concern for fans of Salman Khan and in a rather surprising turn of events, Salman’s fans took to Twitter to call for the removal of Shah Rukh Khan from ‘Tiger 3’. While there may have been a time when fans were eager to see the B-Town besties team up on the big screen, Salman’s fans seem convinced that Shah Rukh will bring a ‘panoti’ to the film. The social media posts gave way to a fan-war erupting between fans of both actors. Trolls cashed in on the trend and went on to share some rather distasteful posts about Shah Rukh Khan. Some even went as far as blaming the actor for the box office failures of the films he made cameos in.

Apart from ‘Pathaan’, Shah Rukh Khan will be also seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’ alongside Taapsee Pannu and in Atlee’s action thriller ‘Jawan’ opposite Nayanthara.
