Shah Rukh Khan to catch Jawan screening tonight! Superstar spills the beans about Atlee film in #AskSRK session | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

After kicking the year off to a blockbuster start with ‘Pathaan’, Shah Rukh Khan seems confident of another smash hit with his next outing with director Atlee’s ‘Jawan‘.
The film, which was originally slated to hit the big screens on June 2, was later postponed to September 7 owing to some delays. But, according to SRK’s latest tweet, he is excited to catch the first screening of the film with his director later this evening!
During his #AskSRK session, a fan asked the superstar about his plans for the evening. To this, Khan tweeted, “Was thinking will watchJawaan with Atlee….”

Another fan asked the superstar about his upcoming films Dunki and Jawan and asked him to pick the more physically challenging one. “Jawaan for sure,” SRK replied and said, “lots of action!”

With the film’s release still a month away, a curious fan asked, “When Jawan trailer will be out sir? And why am feeling there is no enough promotion for Jawan?” To this, a cheery SRK replied, “The fact that you are asking about Jawaan is promotion enough!!”

Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in key roles. The movie will also feature Deepika Padukone in a cameo. It is rumoured that the actress will feature in a special song sequence in the film.
The pan-India release marks Shah Rukh’s maiden project with the filmmaker, known for directing blockbuster Tamil movies like Raja Rani, Their, Mersal and Bigil. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Shah Rukh will also be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’, scheduled to release in December.
