Shah Rukh Khan lands in Kashmir for ‘Dunki’ shoot; gets welcomed with flower bouquets and a shawl – WATCH video – Times of India

Dressed in a black outfit, the actor is seen sporting a white shawl around his neck which was gifted to him by the hotel staff as a warm gesture to welcome the superstar. One of his team members is also seen carrying a huge bouquet of flowers with him. He was seen getting out of his car surrounded by dozens of people in another video.

Shah Rukh is currently shooting for ‘Dunki’ at the moment, so fans are convinced that the actor is in Kashmir to shoot for the Rajkumar Hirani film. Reports are also rife that he will be shooting for a song sequence for ‘Dunki’ in Kashmir.

As soon as the video went viral on social media, likes and comments poured in from all sides. While one of his fans wrote, ‘We love you sir’, another one added, ‘Apna to jalwaa hi alag hai’.

This is the first time Rajkumar and SRK will be teaming up for a film. The film also features Taapsee Pannu. Earlier, in an interview with a news portal, Shah Rukh said in English, his film would be called Donkey. But the way a part of the country pronounces donkey in India, it is ‘dunki’. He added that it is a film directed by one of the most brilliant filmmakers we have had in our country, Mr Raju Hirani. It is written by a very fantastic writer, Abhijat Joshi. It is a story of people who want to come back home… when you finally get the calling.

The actor had further added that Dunki is a comic film. Hirani’s films are always a mix of comedy and a lot of emotions about the country. So, according to him, it is a big journey film, and the film goes through different areas around the world and finally comes back home to India.
