Shah Rukh Khan drops sunkissed photo, says ‘thank you for letting the sun shine on Pathaan’ – Times of India

Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ started a festival of sort in cinema halls as it brought back huge footfalls to the theatres. The film just didn’t get big box-office numbers but it also saw people clapping, whistling and cheering, thus bringing back the glory of theatres.
The actor has been overwhelmed with the reaction of the audience to the film. While, he’s been thanking his fans and media, the superstar dropped yet another post ‘thanking people’. He dropped a sunkissed picture with a philosophical quote. SRK wrote, “The Sun is alone….it Burns….and comes out of the darkness to Shine again. Thank u all for letting the Sun shine on #Pathaan.”

‘Pathaan’ has crossed over 425 crore at the domestic box-office and broken several records.
At the media event for the film, post the release, which was attended by Deepika Padukone and John Abraham as well, SRK had expressed that more than the numbers, it’s the love of the audience which he is cherishing the most. The makers have already hinted at planning the film’s sequel.

Shah Rukh has said that he will be more than happy to do the sequel if Aditya Chopra and director Sidharth Anand want to make it with him. The fim’s suave baddie John also got a lot of acclaim for his role and he’s said that he would also love to be a part of the sequel of the makers decide to bring back Jim’s character.
