All-white outfits might be all the rage with celebrities this summer, but Selena Gomez knows nothing semaphores Parisian chic quite like black. The singer-turned-actor was snapped leaving a restaurant in the French capital in a suitably Gallic combination of black dress, black trench coat and black patent leather Saint Laurent shoulder bag.
The other noteworthy addition (besides her supermodel-approved slicked-back bun and vampish red manicure)? The star’s chosen shoe. Instead of leaning into the drama of her look with a vertiginous killer court, Gomez opted for a classic black Mary Jane with a kitten heel.
Of course, Mary Janes have been impossible to avoid in recent months, with cool girls styling their The Row flats with jorts or ankle socks and floaty dresses, and even the Princess of Wales getting in on the action in recent days.
