See What Vogue Editors Purchased (and Loved) in November
All products featured on Vogue are independently selected by our editors. However, we may earn affiliate revenue on this article and commission when you buy something.
As Vogue editors, we often wax poetic on the latest runway must-haves and home decor treasures, but not every item we gush about on this website ultimately ends up in our closets and homes. Our discoveries are nice to behold—they’re lovely to look at and inspire fun conversation—however, of all the tempting things to buy, what did we actually end up purchasing? Each month we’ll highlight those special finds our editors welcomed into their lives—all the things that made us buyers rejoice.

I’ve finally found a coat that delivers in both style and warmth. This beauty from Mango comes with a detachable faux fur collar, but who are we kidding? That’s the best part.

I couldn’t resist shopping the numerous Cyber Week sales this year (many of which are still going on if you missed it here). Earlier this year, I fell in love with The Row’s Inside-Out Margaux bag as soon as I saw it on the runway. It has timeless appeal with a utilitarian durability and a minimalist ease. When I saw it on markdown, I couldn’t resist and finally pulled the trigger. I can’t wait until it arrives on my doorstep.

I took advantage of the Cyber Monday deals (maybe a bit too much!) and purchased a few things I have been eyeing over the last few months. One of them is knee-high Tabi Boots from Margiela in brown. I’m anxiously awaiting their arrival so I can wear them with my Puppets & Puppets sweater I snagged from the SSENSE sale as well. Another purchase that I am very excited for is a Dries Van Noten turtleneck that is perfect to brighten up these winter days!

I did a ton of holiday shopping in November, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t treat myself to an item or two. I’ve had my eye on beautiful garnet jewelry as of late. The deep red just seems so right for festive dressing this holiday season, and this dainty ring was just the little touch I was looking for. During Cyber Week’s sales, I couldn’t help but snag a pair of these Frankie Shop jeans. Baggy denim and enlarged cargo pockets?! Sold!

My 2023 fashion resolution is to lean further into the curation of my personal style. One of the ways I’m starting my journey is by finding wardrobe essentials that match my personality while still maintaining versatility. This month, my belted black vegan leather trench coat has been my favorite piece to wear everyday.

I picked up a pair of clogs this month, and I couldn’t be happier! As I’ve been shopping for all things comfort, I knew I needed an easy slide to run errands in or to take a stroll through the city before it gets too cold. (Seriously, how beautiful is Brooklyn in the fall?). After considering a few different brands, Brother Vellies’ design sold me.

I’ve been on the hunt for months for a matching set I can lounge in, yet still wear out and about to run some errands in the city. I finally came across this one velour sweatshirt and pair of flare pants from Aerie that will be my go-to outfit throughout the rest of the fall and into the winter. Not only is it super chic worn together, but it can also be paired with some basic tees, my favorite pair of Uggs, and dressed up with simple jewelry.

For me, this month was all about accessories. My first purchase was a now out of stock Siegelman Stable trucker hat. The trend made its way back into our lives with the resurgence of everything Y2K, and I’m not mad about it. This hat in particular caught my eye because they do limited drops, so snagging one is a treat. A portion of proceeds from each sale go to equine therapy programs for veterans, doctors, and inner-city youth. Earlier this month I also picked up a new pair of sunglasses. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect skinny frame since the beginning of the summer and I finally found just that with this pair from Saint Laurent.

I just got these amazing jeans from Grover Rad. The fit is incredible and I love the unique print of lunar drawings by Galileo.

I’m not one to switch up my makeup products too often, especially when it comes to lip combos. But after hearing rave reviews on Tarte’s Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm, I couldn’t resist snagging it on Black Friday. The Hibiscus shade is the perfect pink to enhance my natural lip color and the high shine finish makes it a new go-to when I only want to bring one product out with me.

Two years after I first spied them, I finally bought Bala bangles to level up my at-home pilates workouts. For wearable weights, they’re surprisingly comfortable and certainly make me sweat just that much harder.

Thanks to Jenny Bird, I’ve now acquired a new obsession––ear cuffs! An easy fix for a statement-making ear moment sans the commitment of permanent piercings. I’ve loved mixing and matching metals to add that extra playfulness to my otherwise minimal mode of accessorizing.

I’ve been on the lookout for a leopard print blazer for a while now. As vintage is always my first port of call for new wardrobe acquisitions, I promptly set up multiple alerts for Moschino blazers on Vestiaire Collective, since I knew the brand had some great printed options in past seasons. This month, a notification finally popped up on my phone, and I got my hands on not only a Moschino leopard blazer, but a matching dress, too. Very Janice from Friends, in the best way possible.

I bought the Tyler McGillivary Posy Top on major sale over the Thanksgiving weekend. Her stuff is reliably incredible (and a lot more size-inclusive than many comparable brands). I can’t wait to wear this top with my Good American flares and look like an extra from American Hustle.

If––like me––you’re currently in your midi-to-full-length skirt era, let me direct your attention to the latest drop from Danish label Saks Potts. Their cognac leather Ania Skirt is straight out of the mid-1990s playbook on minimal uptown style. Wear it now with a Skims polo neck body and last season’s knee boots; wear it in spring with AGOLDE’s Bailey ribbed-knit tank and Amina Muaddi’s Johanna platform flip flops.
Also I was late to the Beauty Pie phenomenon, but am making up for lost time. This nourishing biomimetic ceramide-gel is now the backbone of my winter skincare routine: A little goes a long way in calming rosacea-prone complexions, plus it makes an ideal carry-on treat for long haul flights.
And TikTok may be all over the “crying makeup” trend right now, but I’ll take a dewy under eye instead. This Dr. Hauschka balm bucks the neatly concealed look in favor of a refreshingly glossy finish that doesn’t irritate contact lenses. Just add: YSL’s waterproof mascara.

I’m dedicated to getting an early jump on gifting this season. Luckily, I discovered Isa Grutman, a namesake fine jewelry line by the Miami-based model and entrepreneur. I love the simple elegance of every design, one that mimics the timelessness of a vintage piece with a modern touch. Of course, I had to have the everyday gold huggies as an early Christmas present to myself and picked up a double-chain anklet adorned with gorgeous gemstones for someone on my extra-nice list this year.

For those of you who have been following for a while, you know that classic staples are my go-to. This sentiment remains for the fall season starting with this classic Jilong windbreaker from Aspesi. As a fashion editor who is literally constantly on the go, a reliable staple wardrobe is not just a want, but a need. This windbreaker is comfortable, versatile, and perfectly cushioned for the Fall in-between weather.

I love this new launch from Sachi. This is like a thermal layer for your skin that feels comfortable and comforting. When I had a skin flare up with the cold weather, I realized how soothing and magical this serum is. It’s super light yet highly effective.

It wasn’t until I stumbled upon Fried Rice that I became aware of the hole in my wardrobe. Call me dramatic, but this find was more exciting than any other shop I’ve found since living in this city. Why? Because Fried Rice offers the smartest collection of unisex clothes that often feels so limited or difficult to find in either men’s or women’s shops. Although I could have purchased everything in the store, I decided on a pair of cargo pants and a two-tone denim set. While they are strong transition pieces for the fall, they are easy to incorporate into every season in a post-gendered era of fashion.

When I first discovered Canopy and one of my K-Beauty favorites, Laneige, were collaborating on a humidifier and aromatherapy kit, I knew I had to get my hands on it. With my dry, sensitive skin, a humidifier is non-negotiable for keeping my complexion hydrated and happy overall during winter. Slathering on Laneige’s cult-favorite Water Sleeping Mask and adding a few drops of its Lavender essential oil to my Canopy before bed only ups the ante for a dewy complexion and soothed senses.
