Saurabh Shukla recalls drinking Rs 30,000 rum with Ranbir Kapoor during ‘Shamshera’ – Times of India

Saurabh Shukla, who has worked with Ranbir Kapoor in films like ‘Barfi!’ and ‘Jagga Jasoos’, collaborated with him in ‘Shamshera’ too. The senior actor recently shared an interesting anecdote about his time with Ranbir Kapoor in Leh.
Saurabh recalled the time when he enjoyed an expensive bottle of run with the Kapoor scion. He revealed that Nagarjuna had given it to Ranbir when they worked together in ‘Brahmastra’. Shukla said that Ranbir asked him about the kind of drink he prefers and then offered the expensive rum. After they both finished the bottle, Ranbir felt that it was not sufficient for both of them. Later, Saurabh made Ranbir drink alcohol of his choice.

In the same interview, he went on to talk about being under utilised in the industry. He went on to add that his fans wish to see more of him and he wishes the same so he is working on it.

Saurabh Shukla had a packed 2022 with films like ‘Shamshera’, Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ and ‘Bhediya’, headlined by Varun Dhawan.

Ranbir, on the other hand, was last seen in ‘Brahmastra’ with Alia Bhatt. Next, he will be seen in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ with Shraddha Kapoor. he is also a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
