Satyaprem Ki Katha Full Movie Collection: Satyaprem Ki Katha box office collection Day 1: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer off to a slow start on extended Eid weekend | – Times of India
According to reports on boxofficeindia.com, the film was off to a slow start at the box office. Despite the low numbers in the first half, reports state that the film could see a big rise in numbers, thanks to the Eid holiday and extended weekend.
Although the film features some popular names, it reportedly failed to create as much buzz with its songs and other promotional material.
The film is said to be one of those which could have fared better before the pandemic, but the romantic genre is currently struggling to find its audience.
The biggest advantage for the film at the moment is the Eid holiday. It remains to be seen just how much the film can make on its first day at the ticket windows. After the first day collections, it will be up to the fans and public to boost the numbers and help the film maintain its hold over the box office over the long weekend.
If the film can hold on tight at the box office, it could help trade gurus predict the fate of future romantic dramas set to release in the months ahead.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the romantic film reunites Kartik and Kiara after their 2022 hit ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. In the film, Kartik stars as SatyaPrem and Kiara as Katha. The film sees the hunk pursuing the beauty to marry him and after the deed is done, what unfolds next on their happy ever after forms the crux of the story.
The film also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anuradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant and Shikha Talsania.
