Satish Kaushik’s wife denies foul play over 15 crores, requests Saanvi Malu to drop the case – Times of India

While the country was still mourning Satish Kaushik’s demise, an allegation of foul play in his death hit headlines. A Delhi-based woman alleged that her businessman husband had to repay Rs 15 crore to the late actor and that he may have got ‘Mr India’ actor killed. Satish Kaushik passed away at the same businessman’s farmhouse, after attending a Holi party there.

Reacting to these allegations, Satish Kaushik’s wife, Shashi stated that her husband was in Delhi to attend a Holi party and that the allegations of the financial transaction are baseless. Defending the businessman, she told ABP news that Satish Kaushik and the businessman were good friends and would never fight. She also stated that the businessman is pretty rich himself and wouldn’t need money from her husband. Shashi Kaushik added that the post mortem report confirmed that the late actor had 98% blockage and there were no drugs in his samples. Questioning the woman’s motive, Shashi told the news channel, “The cops have verified everything, I don’t understand how she is claiming that he had been administered drugs and murdered. I don’t understand why she is trying to defame my husband after he has passed away. She has some agenda, because maybe she wants money from her husband and she is now involving Satish ji also. I request her to please not play such games. I have no doubts in the matter, so no further investigation should be done in the same. My husband would always tell me if he made such a huge financial transaction. I feel it is very wrong that such things are happening after he passed away.”

The woman in question clarified on her part that she was privy to a conversation between her husband and the late actor and stated that the argument was over a payment of Rs 15 crore.
