Saris, bralettes and crop tops: Here’s refashioning masculinity – Times of India

Fashion is not just a medium of self-expression but also a reflection of our society. It is a pertinent tool to bring in a social change and for the longest time, designers, stylists, and fashion writers have been collectively pushing the boundaries in this domain. Several gender-agnostic brands have emerged over the years in India, thereby blurring the lines of how men and women dress up. While a woman clad in a man’s pantsuit has attained that normalcy, a man sporting a sari or a crop top is still frowned upon. In our special edit, we feature Indian designer labels that are blurring the lines by redefining men’s fashion and making outfits that express one’s individuality instead of just being an article of clothing. Model Kekhrie Khamo is wearing an oversized printed shirt with low-slung jeans from Huemn and a pillow-inspired bralette from Two Point Two.

Model Daksh Rajora opts for a monochromatic blazer from Two Point Two and ditches his pants. The look has been styled with a pair of white boots.

Model Prasanjeet Singh rocks a stylish stitched sari from Huemn. The sari features a cropped top and sleeves with gloves.

Model Mohit Mehta wears a thread embroidered vest with striped trousers from Khanijo.

In another look, Mohit is wearing an oversized shoulder shirt in red with scallop detailing in front. The shirt has been styled with a pair of corduroy pants in black.

Model Kekhrie Khamo poses like a pro in this co-ord set made from Chattai or plastic floor mat from Margn.

Model Daksh Rajora is wearing a face printed crop top from Heumn teamed with a low-rise denims. Hopping on to the Y2K bandhwagon, the model is flaunting cutout thongs giving a sneak peek from the low slung pants.
